I am a man of faith, the Christian faith to be specific. I am also a man that is a sports fan, with baseball being the one I most admire. That is why I am pleased by the recent stories of a couple of baseball players who are not shy about their faith, I am also pleased that the editors of SI.com allowed the faith talk, specifically the Christian faith. It also happens that they are from both MLB teams in Texas, Lance Berkman of the Houston Astros and Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers.
Now I need to go to bed and pray that the Astros start a winning streak against the Brewers tonight!
